Spoilers ahead:

Spoiler for Hiden:
Got to sit down and watch this last night.  Wow, I knew Luke would be in it to win it, but damn if he didn't just DESTROY the other guy's face!  Anyone else tuned in?

Good ol' spoiler thoughts:

Spoiler for Hiden:
Yeah, wicked fight as things picked up steam. I was a little disappointed with the action at the start, but the second and third rounds definitely made up for a slow beginning. I've wanted to see Luke fight right from the first episode, and he represented with style.

And damn if the "on the next episode" clip didn't do it's job - I can't wait for next weeks fight!

No doubt, if you see the look on Dana's face, it's not gonna end well.

This is one of my favorite shows on tv, but I am so god damn sick of the Xyience and Right Guard crap they are putting into the show.  The dialouge between Joe and whoever else it was had to be scripted.  It was something like:

Joe:  Do you prefer Xyience or the GNC 5000?

Other Guy:  Oh, always the Xyience!!!!

Joe:  Yeah, Xyience always works the best for me too, the GNC stuff doesnt.

Other Guy:  For sure, I love Xyience with my heart and soul and I would feel like I was cheating on it if I even looked at the GNC product.

Joe:  I know what you mean!  Hey, have you seen my Right Guard
Extreme?  Keeps me fresh as flowers for all of eternity!

Other then that, I love the show.  I'm interested to see what happens next week.  I have a feeling that someone might get injured or maybe Rashad pulls off a huge upset over Mike.  Hard to say but Dana really didnt look happy at all!

Yea, that did feel like a plug didn't it?  Yea, ok, the Xience commercials that play every 2 seconds are enough, that was over the top.

HAHA that's the truth!  He REALLY surprised me.

I love this show.  Great stuff.  This season needs a "Chris Leben" though.  The Cat Smasher is one of my favorite fighters if not my #1 favorite.

And yep, Dana looked pissed for next week's episode.  I'm thinking it will go down to a decision with it going to the fighter who Dana thinks shouldn't win.

I saw a clip from this show on The Soup. It had two guys pulling another guys pants down trying to spray ketchup down the guys rear-end.

I'm now suspicious of you all.

It's all good, yo. I mean, who hasn't sprayed ketchup down the crack of a grown man's ass? You know? You ... um, you know?

That was a messed up part of that episode.  Between the gayness of mud wrestling and naked ketchup fights, the scripted Xyience conversations and the extreme close-up of the right gaurd every week, I'm amazed that I still watch this show.  This season doesnt even compare to last year if you ask me.  Some of the fights have been great, but the in-house "drama" just isnt there.  The heavyweight fights have all been boring so far and I hope that changes tonight!  Hopefully what ever Dana was pissed about in the preview actually turns out to be something.  Last time they said in a preview "a controversial end" and nothing even happened.

I completely agree. I've been quite disappointed with the skills of some of the fighters. It's almost as if the show was so desperate to get a second season going that they didn't spend enough time searching for good MMA fighters. I've seen better drunken street fights than the one between Rashad and ... who was it, Rob? Whatever. It sucked, doesn't even matter. These guys are trained fighters, and it just doesn't seem to show in a bunch of them.

I'm happy that Luke owned so hard ... but then Anthony shouldn't have even been in the show in the first place.

I had never seen Anthony say anything on camera or to the camera the whole series until last week when he had a fight.

And yeah, I enjoyed last season more so than this season.  The ketchup thing was just a little . . . weird.  I liked the tension that seemed to be in the house last year opposed to the love-fest going on this year.

There have been a couple of pretty good fights though.  So that's nice.  Luke owned!  Maybe he'll get a little more respect in the house now?

Ok, my friend Jeff wrestled with Rashad in college and said he's very very good as a wrestler and I think what we're are seeing it.   To me, he is  this seasons version of koscheck.  Before you say koscheck looked good, all he did was take people down and lay on them.

It seems to me he is ok on his feet, which for a UFC means he is weak on the feet, but he's hard to take down in any form.  I'm not sure about Mike, who he fought this week, but it seems Rashad has confused the last two guys he has fought and demoralized them.  I think Rashad would have serious issues verse anyone in the heavyweight division of the ufc, but I think if he is given time to grow like the other fighters from the first show, he might be a viable heavyweight contender, which is more than I can say for quite a few guys I have seen this show.

No one seems to have good subs in this group, which is huge imho.  But I think people who stay up top and swing at each other tend to make for more interesting fights and maybe thats what they were gunning for this time around.  Dana knows what made last season and that was the final fight between bonnar and griffith.  I think he wanted more fights liek that, even if it takes his a season to weed out the crap.

"Mike why don't you just lay on the fence for the last 30 seconds!"

Yes, it was a pretty disappointing fight.  But Rashad looked better this fight.  Though, I would have loved to see him let his fists go a little earlier than the last minute of the third round   biggrin

I think there might be some sort of "confusion factor", now that in both fights both of his opponents were kind of out of it.  I was expecting a LOT out of Mike Whitehead.

That was pathetic.  I don't get it.  With so much riding on one fight, how can someone come out and not give it their all?  What was running through his mind?  I know he was probably, I GUESS, trying to be cautious...but damn, he looked like a chump!

"Just stand there against the wall and let time run out."

Hilarious.

Like Dana said, the dude just choked. I mean, I thought the guy was going to come out all crazy like a grizzly bear, but instead he just stood there like a Teddy bear. Aww, cute - and lame!

I'm not sure, but I think he expected to be able to take him to the ground easier than he did.  I think Rashad hit him a couple times in the first round stand up that made mike reconsider his stand up game.  He figured he could submit him and put too much effort into trying to get him down and gassed out.

Everyone said mike was a better stand-up fighter, but I didnt see him do anything up there to bely the rep he had.  And rashad opened up a few times in the fight, but once he realised he couldnt lose to a lucky punch, he really opened up letting mike have a chance for a counter that never came...

The fight was boring at points, but not because of Rashad who did a lot better at pressing the action.

any guesses on who the alternative is going to be?

I woulda said the middleweight who was Tanners boy, but I think his knee wont let him compete...

I think it's gonna be Jorge.  Dana's been pissed with shit effort as of late, and Jorge went out swinging...I think he's going to show the house that if you go out aggressive, and even lose, he's impressed.
