The only one I have watched is Desperate Housewives. It is quite good.
I gave up on Joey after the first 3 episodes. It really lacked the spark of Frieinds.

Lost is the only show I'm actively watching, though I'll lean over the wife's shoulders when she watches The Apprentice. 'Bout it for me.

I'm with the majority here, Lost is fantastic so far. I get the "I can't wait until next week" feeling at the end of an episode.
Also, if you'll consider it a new show, Boston Legal has me sticking around on Sunday night.

LOST here also.
Other than that, I seem to only watch sports and ESPN.
Boring, but true.
(oh, and when Alias returns in January, I will watch that also)
On a not-too-related topic, is it true the Battlestar Galactica series is definately happening for the Sci-Fi channel? That would be kinda' cool too, as I actually liked the miniseries for the most part.

No word recently though. s

Lost is by far the best new show.
I also watch Joey, which is exactly like watching Friends (to me at least). The nephew (the kid from "Road Trip") is great.

I don't watch any of the "new" shows, so I'll cast a vote for my wife because I know she loves this show - LOST.
My steady diet of tv shows includes the following; 4 episodes of Seinfeld everyday 5 days a week and once on the weekend, The Apprentice, Survivor-Vanatu, American Chopper, American Casino, Monday Night Football, and when the new season starts "24".
Other than those which I'm loyal to I channel surf alot between ESPN, SciFi, Comedy Central, and all my premium channels, HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, Starz, Encore, and throw in some Bravo and VH-1.

Best new shows: 1. Lost 2. Desperate Housewives 3. CSI NY
Worst new shows: 1. Listen Up 2. Father of the Pride
Those are the only new shows I've seen this year. And Listen Up may be the worst new show to come down the pike in several years. I gave it a couple tries, and I think I may have chuckled once. Absolutely unfunny.

Is there any way to catch up on Lost? I missed out in the beginning, and now I want to catch up, but I don't want to start watching in the middle.
Are they running an encore anytime soon, or is it better to just wait for the DVDs?

You can download episodes through bittorrent. Not behind my firewall I can't. No BT, Kazaa, EMule, or anything of the sort. Gotta love universities.

So far:
1. Lost 2. Boston Legal 3. Joey
I imagine I will enjoy Desperate Housewives- we have all the episodes Tivo'd and my wife gives it a big thumbs up but I haven't gotten to them yet.

Boston Legal is all I've seen of the new shows...well...I did watch Listen Up and that was pathetic. And I have watched one episode of Joey which sucked (I hated Friends, so I mean, it was expected).

Nice to see someone else is watching Boston Legal. Just watching Shatner play himself makes it worthwhile (and if you don't think Shatner is off somewhere really getting Botox, I've got a bridge for sale )

I added three new shows this year to my TiVo cycle; specifically" 1. Lost 2. Veronica Mars 3. Desperate Housewives Sad to see that more of you aren't watching Veronica Mars.

Lost - missed the last 2 episodes :-( Someone call me so I don't miss tonight's episode :-)
Boston Legal - I love me Shatner and Spade. Even if it is ANOTHER law related show.
West Wing - Season premiere is tonight. Hopefully it will be better than ER's premiere. . . that show seems to hold less and less interest for me after Anthony Edwards.
EDIT: Joey was a letdown. And I don't seem to be the target demographic for Veronica Mars and Desperate Housewives :-)

I hope we can start a West Wing dedicated topic tonight after the premiere, but I read some spoilers on TV guide (not to mention the constant news about new cast additions both temporary and permanent), and I have to say that unless they manage to do this season REALLY REALLY well and very very carefully incorporate these changes, I think the West Wing that we all knew and loved will be gone by the middle of the season and a new, very different show will have taken its place. Personally, I think the changes are for the worse. It is incredibly difficult for me to imagine TV getting much better than WW seasons 1 and 2, and mostly 3 as well. 4 was ok, and now they seem like they are just changing the entire formula, which was pure gold and magic for several years. Why?

Don't miss: LOST
Good, but not good enough to tape: Desperate Housewives Boston Legal
Meh. I'll watch it if it's on: Joey
Abysmal: Hawaii Medical Investigations
Returning shows I tape: Las Vegas - aka "The Vanessa Marcil Show" Dumb, but fun. Gilmore Girls - Different vibe than season's past, but still don't miss it (the wife and I watch together). Smallville - Waiting to see what this season's hook is. West Wing - Hope this one hits the ground running The Apprentice - About to give up on this one. Nobody to root for, and the board room shennanigans from the first few weeks hurt the credibility of the premise.

Lost and Desperate Housewives(nice seeing Teri Hatcher looking good again!) are the only ones I can think of. That Veronica Mars thing just doesn't grab me. Boston Legal has already run out of steam in my opinion.
Luckily for me, I only started watching nip/tuck halfway thru this season. Since they are showing every episode starting from the beginning, on Sunday nights- that's my 'new' show now.
