Coverup? Having watched the show (  ), I think the bigger issue is the research into tissue damage from underwater sonar. Regardless of what the body was that washed up on shore, I believe the research being conducted demonstrated tissue damage from government/military sonar experimentation, and that was what led to the alleged cover-up moreso than the potential discovery of the existence of mermaids. From that standpoint the show was rather interesting. But, the drastic leaps in logic to reach the conclusion of the body found to be of mermaid origins were a bit much. |
