I find myself addicted to http://www.portalofevil.com/lj.php.  But then you come across some really, really strange ones.

Thanks for the link.  I lost all mine like that and was relying on this thread for my quirky picture fix.

Might want to give this site a shot. Gives you 200.
Wish I knew how you compile something like this. Looking at the source doesn't give any clues. Or I'm just not seeing it.

Well, that certainly went stright to the top of my 'things I didn't need to see today' list.  Why don't you go find some man-Faye pictures and completely fry my retinas?  slywink

No...they don't look ANYTHING like those people.  I do find it funny when a woman is matched as 90% looking like some guy...especially when it is somebody like Nick Nolte.  icon_twisted

Since I've been out of the LiveJournal image theft loop for awhile I was really shocked and dismayed by those heritage pictures.  Why do ugly people put their picture there to begin with?  Those things have taken LJ by storm.  An unhealthy percentage of people have been posting those recently.

There are many ugly people on the internet and they want to show you their pictures.

Hooray! Not a single Heritage picture this time around. Some do sort of look like a celebrity but I will agree that most don't, especially the ones with Mimi makeup.

I'm scared to ask, given Stiffler's message, but I'm lost. What's a heritage pic? What's the point of that honeybee site?

The Honeybee site (Run by the always entertaining Kitsune) and Portal of Evil both list a number of the latest pictures posted on LiveJournal.

MyHeritage allows you to share your family pictures, research genealogy, and face recognition. The thing we are talking about is their demo that allows you to upload a photo of your face and see which celebrities you vaguely look like, which has become quite popular. It wasn't unusual for me to visit Honeybee (Which lists 200 pictures) and see a Heritage picture on a ratio of 10 normal to 1 heritage.

Crap, Bob Ross died in 1995 from cancer.. I didn't even know he passed, now I feel like shit..

They should stack all of his shows on a DVD set, a lot of people would buy that stuff..  I want to introduce my kids to Bob Ross.

Actually, now that I think about it, how does one save animated gifs to local and get them to play at will?

I've created a jpg of that last block:

Now how do I put it into a signature block (wouldn't use it here).  For example, if I put it on imageshack, how do I save it so that it looks good in a sig bar?

I almost couldn't believe that they're making a Bob Ross painting game for the Wii, at first I thought it was an April Fools joke, but they're really making one. I'm actually half tempted to get it.
