Garfield could really use some spice.  It's been the same for the last decade or more.  I can't believe I actually used to buy the books as a kid.  I'm conviced they just changed the cover and sold me the same compilation every few months.  Plus those weird format books were a giant pain in the ass when I'd have to shelf the humor section when I worked in a bookstore.

And still the movie and sequel apparently did well.  I don't know if the fact it looks nothing like the comic strip helped or made them even worse.

Apparently I have buckets of Garfield hate.  Wonder where I store it all?  Sadly, if I went on a Garfield-inspired killing spree it would only lead more people to read it.  Morbid curiousity, you are such a fickle bitch.
