As it doesn't actually move, and you're not giving away 1000 $100.00 xbox core systems, I'm guessing it's a test because it's monty python?

If it's not MP, then I have no idea why this is a test and I fail.

That'd be correct.  MP would bring down Gone Gold every time, and I think our server is more beefy than that.  Bring it on!

Since you want a test I visited 1000 porn sites and told them to send their spam bots here in a coordinated orgy of spam posting starting at 0300 hours  icon_twisted

That is what happened when we wnt live with the Activision Wii launch reviews- The server can handle it, but the database was up and down, something we are working on....

So how do you handle the backend to provide for that?  Do you have to distribute the load between multiple copies of your database or something?

We are going to set up a caching engine in the redesign but right now we'll simply take the DB out of the equation and serve it up, pure HTML.  smile
