Saw the ads for Syd being buried alive and just couldn't do it.
Wasn't looking forward to it myself after the ad, but was pleasantly surprised that there wasn't much more "Syd in the box" than what they showed in said ads and that that plot was resolved in the first 20 minutes or so.
In other news, ABC's marketing department needs to be fired. Market it as "Syd trapped in a coffin," a tired plot device at best, or market it as "the annual Marshall-on-a-mission show," sure to appeal to long-time fans who know the humor potential and new fans saying, "How the hell is THAT gonna work" like the long-time fans did back in the day. Stupid ad monkeys.
