Great episode! Marshall ROCKS!

Hi hon how was your day?
Great! I dug up one of my co-workers who was buried alive in Cuba, killed a guy and then scooped his eyes out and helped save Hong Kong.

I've never really liked Marshall, but he's really grown on me this season, for some reason.

I like all the Marshall episodes. Always in for a good time when Marshall is going super spy.

Saw the ads for Syd being buried alive and just couldn't do it. That concept was done sooo much better on GvE back in the day. The episode where Emmanuelle Lewis was a supervillain who spent the entire episode bound and gagged with duct tape until they blew him up at the end. Good times. "Manny Lewis is a savage!" biggrin

I wasn't really enthused by the previews for this episode either, but when I saw it was written by Drew "Staff Writer For Buffy And Angel" Goddard, I knew it'd be a great episode.

I wasn't disappointed -- Marshall's lullabye alone was worth the watch.  biggrin

Marshall's the only man in the world with a chin bigger than Bill Cowher's.

My wife loves that show for some reason. I guess she's always wanted to be a super-spy who could kick anyone's ass.

Maybe I should start watching my back. slywink

Wasn't looking forward to it myself after the ad, but was pleasantly surprised that there wasn't much more "Syd in the box" than what they showed in said ads and that that plot was resolved in the first 20 minutes or so.

In other news, ABC's marketing department needs to be fired.  Market it as "Syd trapped in a coffin," a tired plot device at best, or market it as "the annual Marshall-on-a-mission show," sure to appeal to long-time fans who know the humor potential and new fans saying, "How the hell is THAT gonna work" like the long-time fans did back in the day.  Stupid ad monkeys.

My question is how good are the cell towers in Cuba?
