Anyone following this guy? I think he's supposed to loose on the 75th show, but i don't know. The guy not only wins, but blows everyone away.

We watched till the end of last season but to be frank...he's annoying and hard to look at, so we haven't watched this season at all. I think reruns of Seinfeld is on another channel or two and that's what is on at 7:00pm in our house.

I saw the show sometime last week and he wasn't on it.

I've remembered the very important thing I'd fogotten about Jeopardy when they did two weeks of Champions episodes. I don't enjoy it when Ken Jennings isn't on it.

Yeah, he's a dork, but he's GREAT at playing this game and he's actually pretty funny.

I didn't watch it BEFORE he was on it, and I just can't watch the game when he's not on it.

tonight's show was pretty good...although ken still had another runaway win.  they had a great category titled "Tricky Questions" and stumped everyone with the first clue...

The total number of each animal that Moses took on the ark

One of the other contestants said 2 and got it wrong...then ken rang in with "one of each" and was wrong as well.  everyone felt a little stupid when alex pointed out that the answer was zero...noah took animals on the ark, not moses biggrin

I was searching for another thread on this but couldn't find one.

Well, just because I don't watch TV and don't know if everyone's seen it or not, but I'm suprised on a gaming forum no one has posted how he lost to the Zerg.  I mean that's a comedic goldmine right there. ZERG. Filled with pics and jokes and comments. When I first saw the news story, I thought they meant he failed a final jeopardy question about Starcraft.

A&E had a Biography special on Jeopardy and they had a clip of one show where during Final Jeopardy, a lady next to him wrote her answer as "What ever Ken wrote down".

I think he was only ahead by $50,000 so, what the hell... lol.

i saw that episode and thought it was hilarious...of course he did get the question right and won by a pretty significant margin.  from her expressions when her answer/question was revealed, i couldn't tell if she was trying to make a joke or was being a smartass out of frustration over ken mopping the floor with everyone...

He lost.  He was ahead 14,000 to 10,000.  The answer was something along the lines of:

This company's 400,000 white collar seasonal workers work for only four months a year.

His question:  What is Fed Ex.

The other's (and correct answer:  What is H&R Block.

Her answer came up first, and she wagered just enough to get to $14,001.

His came up, and the audience just gasped in disbelief.  But hell, he won over 2.5 MILLION dollars.   The IRS is probably quite happy slywink
