If you're a fan of the comics or, hell, if you just want to see something really damned cool, take a look at THIS. David Fincher has been producing a film version of Eric Powell's awesome comic. It just looks fantastic. That's Paul Giamatti and Clancy Brown playing Frankie and the Goon, BTW. Can-not-wait. |

wow can't believe no one posted, that trailer looked cool as shit. I've never heard of "The Goon" before but I'm going to check it out now. Looks awesome what a interesting concept.

I guess I didn't post because I didn't think it looked all that cool. I figured it was because I had never heard of The Goon before, but I guess that theory can be thrown out. Oh well, to each their own. |

How can one possibly not like the Goon? My mind is a-boggled. Seriously, it's one of the best reviewed comics series in recent years.
And that trailer is just gorgeous and cool. Wow.

Not at all familiar with the source material, but that certainly looks like a lot of fun. Paul Giamatti's voice is perfect for the part and the visual humor through animation worked well and looked fantastic.
Definitely in unless reviews urge otherwise.

I was really looking forward to this so when I started seeing promos on the web for a film called Goon, I was excited. Then I found out there's a hockey film with the same name and that's what i've been seeing advertisements for.  |
