I know I`m late to the party here, but wow. What a frickin` GREAT movie. BTW, did I get the name right? We rented this last weekend and I was floored, really floored. I still haven`t returned it, I have it for a few more days...for the first time in ages I might watch the same movie TWICE in a week! That`s bigtime for me  .
So, anyone else absolutely love this movie?

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.  Close enough though.  smile

I thought it was a fantastic movie also.   Jim Carrey usually annoys me in movies, but in this one his low key performance was touching and heart-felt.  That was a nice surprise.  I've watched it a few times now and it's still captivates me!

Absolutely loved it.  It was clever, funny and touching.

Plus it had Kirsten Dunst in her underwear.  Wowza.

That would be Kirsten Dunst JUMPING ON THE BED in her underwear.

Double Wowza.

I liked this movie quite a bit... I think Jim Carrey is such a great actor when he plays serious movies.  Especially the Truman Show and Man on the Moon.  Would love to see him in more movies like this.

It was a'ight.  I enjoyed Jim Carrey's understated acting, but other than that, I wasn't particularly impressed.

Yea, I usually don`t mind him in his "loud" roles  . But in man on the moon, this and like you said truman, I think he`s great. I was just flat out floored by how well theis movie worked. Some movies seem like a good idea, bu then they`re really not fun to watch...This was a great idea, put together really well IMHO. Great flick!

Is that the one that is going to cleanse the world through Scientology with Tom Cruise or is this another one?  I get them all confused these days...

I have this on my DVD shelf.  Maybe I'll watch it sometime.

Fantastic film and I enjoyed every bit of it.  It was second only to Lost in Translation for my favorite film that year.  Carrey was great, Wilkenson is almost always spot on and the rest of the cast turned in excellent performances as well.  And Kirsten was, once again, smoking hot.  I really like Kaufman's writing though.  Adaptation was the only one that I was so-so on and that was mostly because of Nic Cage.

Go figure, I think Adaptation is fucking brilliant. And Cage owns in that movie.
