I do have a multimeter that I got from my father in law, but messing with electricity is one of those things I'm happy to leave to professionals.

I feel that way about plumbing. I don't mind messing with small electric stuff, but the minute there is water involved....pay the fee and get out of court.

My wife keeps trying to talk me into wanting another cookbook for xmas. I'm not sure how to interpret that.

I got a cast iron dutch oven for xmas last year. It was a good choice. I use it about once a month. This year I'll probably get a cast iron skillet. I make almost no fried foods, but they're trendy.
