I wanted to see the young dude put a saddle on the dog and haul ass around the parking lot.

Hmm... must be only me, but for some reason that dog didn't look all that big to me - for a Great Dane anyway.  Maybe my laptop screen isn't big enough!

I always wanted a really big dog, maybe an Irish Wolfhound or Scottish Deerhound - but, now that I have a German Shepherd, I realize that she is pretty much the max my house can handle, lol.  Wonder what size house you need to contain that beast? Or do you just have no coffee tables or televisions maybe!  :icon_eek:

On a sad note, the reason I never opted for a really big dog, like a Dane - is because they have rather short life spans.  Seems kinda cruel to both me and the dog!  crybaby

Meh. When I was a kid, dogs were at least three times that size...and they'd chase us...with knives.  It was us or them and I'm still here..., though a lot of my friends arent.

That's what I was thinking, I've seen some massive Irish Wolfhounds. I'm surprised the world's tallest dog isn't much bigger.

It was this moment that took the movie from being a little ho-hum to “holy shit, did that shark just eat a plane!?”

my aunt had two great danes, and while that dog looked bigger than hers.  I dont think it was THAT much bigger.  Maybe they have REALLY tall people where they filmed that.  So he just didnt look as tall to us short people here in the states?
