It's kind of clever, but at the same time I don't think it makes their point... the 'bear' looks like another person in black... if we are supposed to ignore people in black, then they are harmless background... so it's not 'omg, I didn't see that important object on the road!' it's 'i didn't see that strangely shaped bush off to the side of the road along with all of those other bushes around it'.

That's why I think the 2004 version is so much better. The background is more plain, the basketball passers are slower paced, and the 'surprise' is much more blatant--yet just about everyone missed it entirely. |
