GT is THE best. I can't thank everyone here enough. You have know idea how much this means to me. I thank you and my family thanks you. In the short time I get to have in the states I even get to meet some of our fellow GT'ers PeteRock and Knightshade (going to Arizona on the way home) We'll drag out more folks than that dude...you are gonna get to meet a whole bunch of us, even if you do look like some sort of Asian Pirate.

DAMN! I'm going to be in Seattle on Oct 1st - with I could be there with you guys, I'll have one at some bar somewhere for you Take care, and don't get him too drunk or the flight attendant might kick him off the plane (or maybe that's the idea! LOL).

Depending on Kato's travel arrangements we've offered up our guest room for as long as he needs to stay in Phoenix and assuming he'll arrive at a reasonable hour we're hoping to host a Phoenix-area GamingTrend USMC Kato Asian Ninja Pirate get-together on whichever night he is in town. All area GamingTrend forum members will be invited. We'll just have to make sure that Kato paces himself on his two Bud Lites so he isn't face-down on the carpet before all guests have arrived. At least we'll be adhering to the old forum adage of "get him drunk first and then......" . . . . . . . .....put him on a flight to California." Geez, guys. What did you think I was going to say.

So I will be getting a flight down to Phoenix either on the 10th or 11th of October. I was going to arrive there a weekend earlier, but I will be having eye surgery (lasik) to fix my pirate problem. Also, my drinking prowess has been underestimated. Another thing, my team, the great and powerful football team 49ers...will be playing the Eagles on Sunday

We have raised $1010.00 so far!
Based on the ticket being ~750 Euro, that puts us at $1096 needed to polish off that ticket. We are 86 dollars away from our objective folks!

Holy crap I get to go home. Even now I have orders to return to Iraq November 1st. Just to go home to see my loved ones again before I leave was unbelievable, until GT stepped in and helped me. What can I say? I can't thank you all enough for what the GT community has done. I am deeply moved and honored to be part of this community. I will be arriving at phoenix on the 10th and leaving on the 13th. I hope to see some of you there. Take care everyone. P.S. Eye surgery in 36 hours!!!!!!!!

You totally deserve that eye surgery, cuz you're one ugly one-eye pirate! In all seriousness, I'm glad that I was able to help, even if it was with a few bucks. You're a damn hero, Kato. It's too bad you're not coming home to stay, but at least you're coming home for a little while.

From my current reports on the front, Dogmeat has gained almost 10-12 pounds. I miss that dog. Hopefully he stays safe during his patrols.

I still don't have Dogmeat in the game - or at least not with the capital "D" - looking forward to that. So, he gained 10-12 pounds? Wow, is he huge, or was he just way underweight? You probably already answered this somewhere, but it'd take me forever to find it I think. Did you ever post a picture of him? Questions, questions, questions, lol!

I had to check his bags prior to departure to make sure that he didn't attempt to abscond with one of my own dogmeats like Knightshade.

That dog got into my Rock Band carrying bag on his own accord. He also got out, made sure he packed his chew bone, and then got back in. He wanted a field trip.
