I was horrified to hear about your injury, Kato - geeze what a close call! Luckily (for me), I missed the stickie at the top, so I got to avoid all the tension and misery of waiting for news. I'm so glad to hear of your recovery!

I'm wondering though, is that smilie at the end of your post a picture of your hospital outfit? Somehow I thought it'd be a tad more manly... 

Oh, and if you let us know if you have any layovers on your way home, I can reach Boston, MA and Hartford, CT - and more than one airbase (closest is Westover, but there are more I can't temember the names of, of course.)

I got a PM from a GT member (Suitably Ironic Moniker) that is actually stationed/lives right next to the hospital.  What a nice guy, I may shamelessly ask him for some good local food for take out 

I may in the states as early as next month.  Can't wait to play with you guys online again.  Hopefully even meet some of you in person.

Dogmeat continues to go on patrols with my Marine unit, and he has been officially adopted by my command which is good news.  The bad news is that he won't be coming back to the states with me

That must mean that they too must have also ridden on the back of your ATV in Halo 3's Rocket Race.  I still have nightmares about those races.  Although I think it was your Asian driving that kept us alive as it was so unpredictable.  No one knew where to aim as you could at any moment swerve or slam on the brakes for no reason.   

I may in the states as early as next month.  Can't wait to play with you guys online again.  Hopefully even meet some of you in person.

Let us know exactly when that will be once you have a date ironed out.  Many of us would like to be there.
