I am pumped for a lot of movies, but the big ones for me are probably:
1. Spider-Man 2 2. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Of course this means by the time July rolls around I won't be as pumped by other movies (or maybe I am forgetting one).
How about you guys?

Nothing has really grabbed me.
I still want to see Shrek 2, but will probably wait for the DVD.
Spider Man 2... I just don't know. I'll probably see it, but Doctor Octopus just doesn't look good. I thought the first would suck and was very pleasantly surprised, so who knows?
I am fearful of AvP. A friend told me about it over the weekend. I'm glad it's finally being made, but will it be any good? I hope so, but I have a bad feeling.
I'll put HP on the shelf next to the other two unwatched DVD's. For some reason I want to read them first.
I am just happier watching movies at home. Going out just isn't worth it for me unless it's something I really care about. I guess I am a lot more interested in what's coming out on DVD this summer...

You think M.Night has another twist ending for us or is he tapped out?

Supposedly the ending was recently redone...that's the rumor at least. I like M. Night's movies personally although I'm not as hyped up on this as his other works.

Spider-Man 2 is the big one for me. I'm hoping to find someone to see Shrek 2 with me.

Spider-Man 2 is the big one for me. I'm hoping to find someone to see Shrek 2 with me. I'll go, but that would be one expensive movie ticket! Nobody wants to see it here, either. I don't mind going to see movies myself, but damn if the kids are out of school. That's the dirty little secret of teaching. Oh sure, you get the paid summer vacation, but why would I even want to do anything when the little bastards are running free during the day? Maybe I will just stand up in the front of the theater and start writing their names on the screen. Detention after the show! I liked Unbreakable. Didn't see Signs. No idea what The Village is and not sure I want to spoil it. I'm sure the impending ad blitz will do that, though... Go see Soul Plane.

You think M.Night has another twist ending for us or is he tapped out? Nope, he most certainly had one. Moriarity over at Aint-It-Gonna-Suck-News said he pegged it right off, and when it actually happened in the script he read he felt like M. Night was pissing directly on the audience. If they really did re-shoot the ending, then rock on. I liked the hell out of Signs until the ending, and then the complete stupidity of it all just came crashing down. But that's me. Saw Shrek 2 Monday and laughed start to finish. The Fairy Godmother rules. I'm waiting for Spider-Man 2 and The Terminal personally, but the big one for me this year is The Incredibles. Written by Brad Bird (The Iron Giant), animated by Pixar? A superhero family based on the Golden Age of superheros? Will this be the greatest movie of the year? Likely!

Summer Mitch...summer! Incredibles is a November release...heh. Bah! In a summer where "I, Robot" features a wise-cracking Will Smith and really frickin' awful-looking CG robots, give me November now!

Spiderman 2 and The Village for me.
Also, the new Bourne Identity movie looks good to me.
Kind of a weak summer imho.
Michael Moore is an ass crack fluke who should be kicked out of this country, jmho of course.

Nah, I don't always agree with Michael moore either. But from what I've seen of the trailer this one looks pretty interesting to me as it seems to really expose greedy corporate dick-smacks and how they manipulated things for their own gain after 9/11.
I can think of many people far more worthy of getting kicked outta the country than him. At least Michael Moore has a point and isn't just being an ignorant bitch (e.g. the Dixie Chicks).
And as long as we're talking about getting rid of people - can't we focus on the really annoying ones? Like Justin Timberlake and Leonardo DiCaprio?

Spider-Man 2, AvP, The Bourne Supremacy, The Village... I know there's at least one more I want to see, I just can't seem to think of it.
For anybody groaning about AvP.. yeah, I'd say the odds are against it. But I love those monsters too much to not go fork up my 8 bucks and see it in the theater.

Considering AvP is directed by Paul "Will Suck" Anderson and is set in Antarctica, I've now faith in it. However, after beeing "Escape from Butcher Bay" tonight I'm dying to see "Riddick."
