okay i was browsing about and decided to look up info about that new Dark Tower book(The Wind Through The Keyhole)as i am reading through them again..and i found that in March 2009 he said that he would start it in 8 months...i think we knew this anyway, someone posted it on here
anyway-in December 2009 Stephen King did a poll on his site for which book he should start writing next
Dr Sleep got 5861 votes
The Wind Through the Keyhole got 5812
Dr Sleep being a sequel to The Shining...which is the first i have heard of it
so it looks like we will get Dr Sleep first
it does sound pretty good though, following Danny from the first book
from wiki:
The story, King said, would follow the boy from the original novel, Danny Torrence, now in his forties, living in upstate New York, where he works as an orderly at a hospice and helps terminally ill patients pass away with the aid of some extraordinary powers
so,a sequel to The Shining....do we need one?i loved Book,Film and Mini series so i am a big fan...but,still a sequel is something i would not of expected
for those interested in
Dark Tower 8,i managed to find this
a new Mid-World book (not directly about Roland Deschain, but yes, he and his friend Cuthbert are in it, hunting a skin-man, which are what werewolves are called in that lost kingdom)
sounds pretty cool
remember the 4th book was a flashback book also...but that was being told by Roland to Eddie,Susannah and Jake(and Oy)
so,will this be Roland telling this tale,or just like how The little sisters of Eluria(another Roland short story) is in Everything's Eventual?
so i am pretty intrigued with Stephen Kings next books hopefully next year
EDIT:okay about DT8 i just noticed this on the wiki page about it
Preceded by Wizard and Glass
Followed by Wolves of the Calla
which would make it a direct sequel to the events in book 4 then?..as in the past events in book 4
