Yea? Nay? Rehash? Rotten Tomatoes looks good on the subject, but I always like to ask others that I know have the same movie tastes that I do...

I wish I still had my Spidey Underoos!
When I was younger I would automatically take on the persona of whatever superhero-themed underwear I was wearing. The thing was, I could only "be" that hero when wearing that particular pair of underwear. You want me to be Superman? I can't, I'm wearing my Batman underwear!
Underwear used to be fun. Not anymore.

I liked this movie a lot and it's indeed better than the original. There is a lot of good writing and acting in the movie (the creators of Smallville helped on the script) and the first hour may seem a bit slow to many people, but you can compare it a lot to Superman II in that regard.
Anyway, as a lifelong Spider-Man fan and a person who wrote an extremely long review for DVD Talk on the first movie (I had spoiler and non-spoiler sections) I give this movie a big thumbs up.
In regards to the game (from what I have played of it so far), the game story doesn't follow the movie that much at least early on. Different situations, but basically the same story.

I think we're gonna go see it again this weekend. He wants mommy to see it this time. I know I'm gushing, but I truly liked this movie on a level that evoked memories of childhood bliss. Maybe it's because I saw it with my son. BTW, right now he's watching our dvd of the first movie and he's already cranked out 4 spiderman vs. doc ock drawings

I saw it at midnight on Tuesday night.
Excellent.
It continued the story, stuck to the general mythos of the character, and left you with one thing that will certainly happen in the third movie, and many other possibilities were introduced. But none of it is over-whelming or badly done, it's all snuck in there right where it's supposed to be.
Damn fine movie.
I'll be seeing it again today with a few people who couldn't make it with us last time.

Seeing it tonight and dying to know just how great it can be. That preview has had me drooling for a long while and the poster has been my PC's background for a long while.

Going to see this one on Saturday, and hopefully on the Superscreen. This movie sounds fantastic and I can't wait to go.
