The only product placement I noticed in last night's episode was the Dunkin Donuts when they were all talking about the movie. I love Dunkin's, but who the heck ever buys it in those tiny cups (well okay, if you bought a Box of Joe, but I didn't see one of those anyhow).
Aside from that little nitpick, I liked the episode overall... I liked seeing Tony finally come out of the coma; that whole thing had me very uncomfortable which I know was part of the point. I loved Paulie complaining to the extent that it got to Tony even in his coma. Vito with Meadow's boyfriend (I thought fiancee, but they've been engaged two years now?) was an interesting moment as well.
Maybe I'm too kind; I was ultra critical on seasons 4 and 5, so maybe my expectations were shot down enough that I'm just enjoying whatever they put out now? Or maybe seasons 4 and 5 really were the filler we thought, and this is what has been planned in some form for the final season since the start?

How the bloody hell did I post that in the wrong forum? Glad I never made fun of anyone else for that in the past.

I remember one other placement that was pretty bad. When Meadow came into the hospital room to relieve some guy in there she asked him how he was, and he said something like, "I just need some Irish Spring." Or something to that extent. Anyway, I felt this was easily the best episode of the season so far. It will be interesting to see if Tony did suffer any long term damage.
To avoid spoilers, I'll just say The scene at the house was amazing.

One of the best mis post EVAR!
I was a little uncomfortable seeing Tony so helpless. Makes me wonder if he will make a full recovery.
I LOVED how Silvo seemed so uncomfortable as acting Boss.
I am secretly wishing Vito is killed. Once it comes out he has tendencies not fit for a man of respect I think his days are numbered

man, i was all excited for a sopranos game.. One is in the works, its about a guy who is in the mafia but is outshinning the boss so he gets whacked. See then they take this guy to the dump where his body reconnects itself except he cant find his hand so he attaches a meat cleaver instead. After that, he goes and gets revenge on everyone in his mob, including the boss. I think it is going to be called "Cleaver." It is a mix of Godfather 2 and Saw.

It also answers the question I ask myself whenever I visit a Blockbuster, looking at the rows and rows of crap 'horror' movies - who finances these things?
