We went to Sandals in Nassau and loved it.  Sandals is great but it is damn expensive...I couldn't have gone if I didn't work for a travel agency (back when we still got those type of deals and cheap airfare).  The good thing about it is you are so active with everything included you don't put on weight from the 2000 calories a day in mixed drinks you have smile  Loved it but couldn't afford to go back now.

Same. Awesome place. Bali Hai!! (BTW, if you look at the motu (ring) in the bottom right corner is the airport that was built by the SeeBees in WWII.)

Going to Disney mid November. My buddy works at the AK hotel, so we pay half price on the hotels and get free park admission. Since the kids are so young (4 and 8mos), we're only doing 3 days at Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, doesn't seem like much more we can do with the really little ones.  Its only a 3 hour drive, so we figured we'd give it a shot.

Epcot is great for little kids. It's more about walking around and checking out stuff then rides. I guess it might be a pain dragging em around the place since it's huge!!! But otherwise I don't see it being a problem. Plus you can store some beers in there strollers and stuff talk about convience!!

We went to Dinseyworld too.  Was over New Year's holiday in 1991/92.  We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypruss resort near Disneyworld and had a great time.

Had a great, relaxing time.  Pretty much spent my day on the beach, planted my flag in the sand when I wanted another tropical frozen drink, and did the jacuzzi / massage / spa treatments twice a day.

Hey cool Don, I went to St. Lucia as well.  We stayed at the main Sandals there not the smaller one.  I took a few side trips around the island, went horseback riding through a 400 years old sugar plantation that was now growing bananas and a day cruise down the coast with a few stops on a large catamaran.

Funny all those hours on Teamspeak and this never came up.

I'm getting married in the next year or so (haven't proposed yet, will soon), and I know we'll be going to Prince Edward Island, Canada.

I have been searching for some places to stay and this seems like a nice place::

This will come off as lame, but St. Louis.  Well, that isn't entirely true.  On the way to St. Louis from Louisiana I saw the sign for Chicago, so took a right.  Were in Chicago for a couple of nights and then went to St. Louis.  Saw a Cubs game in Chicago and a Cards game in St. Louis (actually, it was St. Louis' very first Interleague game).

So why the lame destination?  We didn't really have any money, so we picked somewhere we could drive to that was a decent distance away.  So, we saw the arch and the Budweiser plant, etc.

Lame beginning to a good marriage, but I thikn when the 10 year anniversary hits, I will try to make up for that.

Zaxxon and I got married in July.  We went to Akumal, Mexico.  It was wonderful!!!

I was responsible for wedding planning (with my mom) and he did honeymoon planning.  I didn't know until the morning we left where we were going except that it was hot, and I needed a passport and vaccines.

First: Awwww!
Second: I love that idea of the groom making honeymoon arrangements and surprising the bride.  Never heard of that, but (eventually) I'd definitely be in favor of that arrangement.

Slightly more on topic: My parents (who are celebrating their 25th Wedding Anniversary in November) went to California.  The did Knotts Berry Farm and drove down to San Diego.  They're still blabbing about it 25 years later, so they must have enjoyed it!

Congratulations Octavious230!!!  Disneyworld sounds like a lot of fun.

I got married back in May 2002, we took a 7-day cruise to Mexico then went to Disneyland for the weekend.  Disneyland was a blast.  The in-laws paid for our time at Disneyland and they came along (only for the DisneyLand part) which I didn't mind.  They are pretty cool people.  They live in the west coast and we live in the east, so it was nice spending time with them at Disney.

Might be fun to have a day dedicated to her.  Surprise her with a spa treatment and a dinner in the Cinderella restaurant (I believe it's in the castle).

Ditto on that Don.  That was for my second marriage.  Highly recommended. thumbsup

For my 1st, we went to Maui, stayed in condos on the southern beaches (can't remember the names anymore).

4 days at Fernandez Bay Village in Cat Island Bahamas - it was in June so it was stifling hot - the water was like a bathtub.  Very nice little place to stay though, was rather quiet due to being off season.

Then we stayed a couple of days in Ft. Lauderdale.

All in all it was a great time away!
