I'm a Senior UX Architect for a startup called Spredfast. Our SaaS product is a social media management tool for enterprise customers.

I also publicly speak about UX-y things occasionally at local UX groups and at events like SXSW.

Reporter/editor for a weekly trade media e-mail newsletter covering, well, lets say parts of the chemicals business/energy industry. Which sounds exciting but trust me, it pays about 95% better than my newspaper biz editor job in 2006 and they treat me much, much, much better.  icon_cool More importantly, I'm not getting laid off/bought out like most of my former newspaper reporter/editor brethren.  icon_frown

Thank God my small company is old-fashioned and hasn't asked me to breathlessly Tweet a news item every 27 seconds of the day. Although I realize I'm known to do that here when I'm really excited about a game. icon_razz

I'm a Health Services Administrator for a private corrections company.  The prison I work at is in western Oklahoma and houses California inmates.  I did, however, apply for a transfer to a detention center (run by the same company) in Pahrump, NV (60 miles west of Las Vegas) and was offered the position today.  I start there on May 5th.  smile

My title is sports director at the AM radio station I work at, but in truth I am our play-by-play guy for our sporting events, who moonlights as a producer and talk show host when the need arises.

That doesn't pay that well, so I'm also a machinist. I work part time in my parents machine shop, programming milling machines and generally trying not to impale myself on whatever piece of metal I happen to be working on.

That also doesn't pay all that well, so I got a job working for the Mets. I ran sound for their home spring training games, and will continue to do that over the summer with their minor league team.

I work harder now than I ever have, and make less money. Three cheers for chasing your dreams!!!

Director of IT for an aviation trade association.

Title sounds good but since my entire IT team is myself, I am a jack of all trades.  nod

I do the web development, network admin, video work, phones, trash on Mondays, and anything else that comes up.

Best job ever and really couldn't ask for a better place to work.

Work in a relatively small non-profit organization which helps contractors and various experts with the complicated Flemish (= part of Belgium) Environmental Laws concerning the excavation and utilisation of (often polluted) soil.

Sort of like my hero Captain Planet, but with more paperwork involved. And significantly weaker superpowers.
