My wife brought some blu-rays off of Amazon.

I went out and got the paper off the drive way.

I’m a sucker for Mortal Kombat games.  Was disappointed that I missed Boom Blox for $20.

I bought some decent books at a used book store. I don't think they were on sale for Black Friday, though. I'm looking for an LCD tv but no deal seemed to stand out.

We went out to the mall. Tons of great deals (almost every store had Buy 1 Get 1 Free, or Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off), but we just weren't in the mood to buy anything. I have a feeling we're not alone.

I'm going to order a new Rifle at Dick's, but I wasn't about to do it today. I called and asked and they specifically said the deal would be available Saturday morning as well, and that if it's out of stock they can still order one for me at that price.

Remington 700 in .308  for $450?

Yes please.

Got Dead Space on amazon for $30.

This right here for the PS3 along with Motorstorm for $15. Damn happy about it too.

Also snatched Mad Men Season 1 on Blu-Ray to top it all off for $17.

Basically Amazon.com got all my coinage.

I had to work at Best Buy starting at 4:30am.  My first customer was an angry Polish lady who insisted she was in line for an item she didn't have a ticket for.  Don't talk to me about Black Friday or I'll smack you in the mouth.

How did you get heavenly sword for $10?  I saw it listed on Amazon for $20.  For $10 I would have grabbed it.

Is Mad Men worth owning, having never seen it?  Normally, I'd try it for $17, but I have Netflix, and I'm trying to reduce the number of DVDs I buy, plus the gaming season has been expensive.

I just finished the first season of Mad Men and loved it. It's not something I'd watch again though so Netflix'ing it worked out great.

The only deal I grabbed today was Rambo 1-3 BD for $18 off Amazon. I have 1 and 2 already on UK HD-DVD imports, but the transfer will be better on Blu.

I missed out on the Best Buy Toshiba Satellite laptop for $379. That's what happens when you get to the store at 10am instead of 5am. The economy will have to limp along without my purchases.

Nothing. The only stores I ever shop are the packie, the grocer and the pharmacy, and the clothing outlet once every other year.

Today I'll buy a 12-pack of Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale and a 6-pack of Mayflower Porter, and we're going out to a show in Cambridge tonight so dinner at Grendels Den.

I went to IKEA and got the $99 deal on the "Malm" bedframe (normally $199).  Thankfully they did a normal 10AM opening and though it was crowded, things were pretty sedate overall.  Waited about five minutes in line to get a voucher reserving one of the frames, and then waited about 15 minutes in line to actually pick up my frame.  But I finally have a real bed.  I figure, ship five million units of your game, you finally deserve to sleep above the floor slywink  They charged $40 for wooden slats which was a ripoff in retrospect.  Wish I had just gone to Home Depot and cut my own.

The TV I bought a month ago went on sale, and yes I did check to see if they price match with Black Friday deals before pulling the trigger.

Saved myself $300 for 10 minutes in line.

Yay for 60" DLPs for under $1,000.
