Just got back from my grandmothers, and I'm still in shock.

I just got home and set this up...
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000NVBIM0/ruggedelegance31555-20/ref=nosim

I also got some clothes, Assassins Creed, Mass Effect and a Duck caller...

My wife got the wii, so now we're having a blast!

sweet loot there!  How heavy is it?  my current DLP set is getting to be a pain to move around and I'm going to be looking at upgrading to an LCD sometime early next year for the ease of being able to move it around myself.

So far I also got a new T.V. for Christmas - here's the one I got:
http://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-TH-58PZ700U-1080p-Plasma-HDTV/dp/B000R1G76I/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1198478276&sr=1-1

I'm not supposed to get much else - but i have this sneaky feeling that my wife has bought me one more semi-pricey gift. But I won't find out anymore until Christmas morning.

Hey hey!  I got a Sumo Omni Bean Bag too!  This thing is AWESOME.  biggrin

I also got my RC Helicopter.  Yea....it is a little more complicated to fly than I thought.  That guy bolting his Airwolf around at the air park?  Yea...he's been doing this a while I think.  My wife said that the grin on my face when the thing lifted off the ground was the best present in the world.

I also scored some clothes.  I'm trying to slowly change my primary wardrobe from jeans and shirts to 'grown up clothes'.  If I want a shot at management here at work, I need to make sure I look the part. I also picked up some cool dragon knick knacks as well as a new uniform for Martial Arts.  My in-laws got the wife and I two front row open-ended tickets to a dinner theater production.  All in all, given how rough the last quarter has been for me, my biggest present this year is having actually made it this far.

My 6 week old is currently snuggled up in the Omni as we speak...and my wife has found it to be perfect for getting inj ust the right position to nurse the baby... me thinks I am going to be buying a second one.  And yes they are awesome, I can't recommend them highly enough.

Got a new Crimson DS Lite and a carry case for it.   Got FFIII to play with it (that i really don't like, but the wife didn't know).  Also got the gaming chair a couple weeks back as an early gift.   Also got NBA 2K8 for the PS3.   Some other small things.

I really want one of those Sumo chairs now too!

That's awesome, I have been wanting one of those forever but never found one I liked (not that I found many). I didn't know Alton Brown sold stuff, off to go buy one.

Edit: Thanks to Arkon I got to looking around Alton's site and ended up with one of these too:

Can't wait to try it out, if I like that angled handle I may have to replace my Global Chef knife too.

I bought myself way too many Xmas presents this year.

My brother sent me on a hunt for my present. I had to decipher clues and ended up under the sink, in the freezer and the clothes drier before getting my present. Very creative!

Best of all: time with family and time AWAY from work.

Christmas Morning and I got a PS3 (40gig w/ Spiderman 3 version) plus the new Ratchet & Clank.

Unfortunately no HDMI cables to actually hook it up.  :-(
So probably need to wait until Walmart opens up at midnight.

I only got one gift, from everyone, that my hubby gave me this morning. frown

However, it was the brand-new Alienware I've been lusting after, with 4GB of Ram, Core 2 Extreme QX 6850 processor, SLI'd 768 MB GeForce 8800 Ultras,
two 1TB hard drives, and a 30" widescreen flatpanel LCD.

I love my hubby smile.

WOW! That's one beast of a machine. Out of curiosity are those drives set in a RAID config or are they individual drives?

Yeah, nice computer Darkstar One!

In addition to my parents helping me get a washer and dryer for my new apartment I got:
a nice art print
a veggie/rice steamer
an electric screwdriver
The Simpsons Movie DVD
a coupon for Wii Fit when it comes out
and some other random small things

Mostly I was just happy to be able to have my mom and stepdad down to spend a few days and not have another holiday alone.
