I mean 11 hours and 5 minutes is pretty good right?  After all I'm a moderator so I should be here a lot to keep you knuckleheads in line.  There I am feeling pretty good and then I look at the statistics and I find the top ten list for Most Time Online:

Arkon  1d 17h 58m
Kevin Grey  1d 6h 53m
Kobra  1d 2h 6m
Graham  1d 1h 58m
-Lord Ebonstone-  22h 59m
Knightshade Dragon  21h 0m
EngineNo9  20h 51m
Zero  18h 21m
Calvin  15h 46m
Lockdown  15h 23m

Crap I'm not even in the top 10? Maybe not even the top 20.

Are you guys just logging in and leaving the page up while you go to work or school?

Yep.  I've got GT and my other frequently visited sites set up in tabs on my work computer.  Home, too, but I'm not at the computer most of the day there like I am at work.

Not I.  I open the window, do whatever I'm doing, and then shut the window.  All of that is true 'hands-on' time.

yup.  Sometimes I sit and click refresh over and over again while waiting for a new post to show up... I tend to not post as much as one would think given my time on the boards.

Me too.

A lot of mine is surfing post time, probably 1/3 of it open sitting there at work while I look at it briefly and then go back to attempting to work. However, I also have it off all night long most nights and stuff like that.

I should probably add that my time is magnified due to me not having my 360 atm nor am I playing any PC games to take me away from the forums.

Well I am coming to Pittsburgh later this year to watch my Steelers play.  You can bet your ASS you'll be getting out of the house that day to take me to the best places to eat.

Mark it down.

I fully admit leaving a "Tab" for this forum open and going about business and sometimes not even being home...  I usually have 10-20 tabs open through the day..

I would say less than 2-3 hours total are actual surfing time.

I usually have it open at lunch, but I can't get through the whole thing at lunch so I end up keeping it in the background and taking a look when I get the chance to.  Also, I will look at the forum in the evening and my gf or my parents or someone will call, or I'll make my lunch or something.  My actual time is a lot lower.  I still can't believe how high I am on that list though.

Sheesh, I didn't realize I would be in the top 10.  I will often have the GT forums open in the background as I read an article that was linked or check out some news, movies, etc. about something we were discussing.

LOL...I need to get a life!

I'm on, usually reading, and thinking about what I'm posting...before posting.  I don't usually post much, unless there is something I want to add...not much into padding  icon_biggrin

But, in looking at my time right now 19hours and 4minutes!  Whew..that's a lot of time.  But I still have a life (I think!) - this pass weekend I went crabbing/fishing at Deception Pass - spent almost all weekend there, and posted/read remotely (if possible), so it was minimal.  At work, I usually can go in a few times a day, but at night, I can catch up.

Sweet, crabbing is fun stuff.  You have the 'crab gun' or do you shovel?

I have a ring crab net and a star trap  icon_smile  They are feisty when you get them out of the water, until you flip em on their back.

I don't know how exactly these numbers are tracked, but I know I've left a browser at work open on OO over a weekend before.  Quite possibly I've done it here too.  It would be a more meaningful number if you could track idle time too.

Once in an early WoW alpha build I accidentally left a level 1 warlock logged on for a whole weekend too.  Since we happened to be tracking average times to level from new players, and there weren't many players at that point, it put a big spike in the graph for Warlocks at level 1  icon_biggrin

In other words, "Logging out" is not a concept I am comfortable with.

I don't think it tracks if you just leave the browser open - unless you constantly refresh.  I left my computer here, and not doing anything, and when I refreshed it added a couple of minutes only.  Anyone else care to try?

What's the easiest way to get to the stat screen.

And where is the "quote" button amongst all these icons? Is it gone?

If you are using the black theme I don't think the link to the stats page is on there.  Here is a link to the stats page.
