This could end up as one of the most spectacular train wrecks in GT history.

TML should make sure he updates his resume before his date(s) because he's breaking every rule about work and dating ever written. And when the inevitable breakup/failure/confrontations happen, it will rip the very fabric of the space time continuum in one stupendous supernova of soap opera drama queen proportions that he'll need federal superfund money just to pick up the pieces of what'll be left of his shattered, stomped on, bombed out heart.

The fact that he's doing all this AT THE SAME TIME is what makes it spectacular on a galactic level.

Said yes.

Said she was busy, and didnt really seem interested in doing anything anyways.

(this is just a random picture of an Indian girl, not Aparna herself)

To be fair, she's JUST starting college and her last day is Thursday of next week...soooo.

And jeez guys, I was QUICK with Aparna.  Third time I talked to her.  So there.

Don't get her shurikens though. I hear they have enough of those. Maybe some tape with poisonous snakes attached to it.

Well...

BASICALLY she didn't call.  At work the next night she said she had a "really good excuse", but never told me this excuse.  I've gotten enough of those to realize she really means no, but in a nice, diplomatic-way that would make it totally cool if I just dropped out and yeah.  She doesn't even flirt with me anymore biggrin

Seriously, girls screw with guys...UNTIL they realize the guy wants THEM and then they totally back off.  It's a game to them.

I'm talking more and more with the Indian girl.  She's gonna be in a festival celebrating the Indian Independence Day and invited me - I may go.  She's bringing a camera to work tonight, she wants a picture with me...sooooo yeah.  Maybe I can hook you guys up.

It's rare when it does work, but generally it's best to not dip your pen in the company ink.  Workplace drama is not cool if your involved.

Besides, women talk. Especially the women in your same place of business. The easiest and safest way for them never to compare you in bed to the other guys they've slept with is to not date anyone you work with. Now, should you leave that company and go somewhere else they're instantly fair game. unibrow

Oh, LE!

WELL, the Indian girl is gone to school, I got some contact info from her, but haven't felt like following up.  Here's a pic:

She's on the left.  Yeaaaaaah, a little young.  Nice girl, though.  Very nice girl.

The boss situation is...interesting now.  She actually got DEMOTED, so she's the same rank (technical operator) as me.  We've talked, shared stories, shared pictures, etc. and my crazy co-worker buddy told her I was "sweet" for her the other night.  She said she already knew.  Durrrrr.  I came later and tried to act all funny saying I was telling him about my "sweets" I was eating and that she came up...but she was like, "Nonono" *chuckles* "It's okay."

And that's that, basically.

But no matter what she says, how flirty she gets, the simple fact is that she's got my number.  And she's not calling me.  So, there you go.  She dated some guy from work about 4 years ago and it sort of got ugly at the end...so I think she's sort of hesitent?

I'm throwing her a curveball because I'm sort of almost guaranteed a job...and am going to take it, so I'll be putting in my 2-week's notice there soon.  It turns out she lives in the same area I'll be working in (I swear to God totally coincidental)...So we'll see what happens then, AMIRITE?

Sorry TML, I have to agree with LE on the Indian girl. As the saying goes, "Eject Porkins! Eject! Eject!".

As for the ex-boss girl, it's obvious she wants you to make the first move. Don't wait for her to call because it'll never happen. Oh the games women play...

Well I havent had the intronet so I got to miss the trainwreck known as your life... but I shall sum up all I have learned about women in a few small rules.

1) All Women are insane, it's the amount that determines the keeper level.  This one isnt even argued by my women friends so I know it's true.

2) The less you seem to want a woman, the more they tend to want you.   This rule is mildly iffy.;  If you look like brad pitt and could 2 rats arse about a woman, she probably wants to roxor your boxors.  But if you look like Carrot Top, sans muscles Plus annoyance, and you ignore some random hottie, she will probably be pleased by this turn of events.  I could put subsections into this rule but it's too much work.

3) Housemates and co-workers at small buisiness, while potentially dateable never end well and usually resemble trainwrecks witihin a short amount of time.  Now if you want to do the casual thing and they are down (Please dont make me explain this concept)... it's midly different.

4) No matter what happens in my love life, I can come on here and see how you are doing and realise it cant be all that bad...  icon_biggrin
