I think Scrubs may be about to jump the shark. I just don't know how a show can possibly get any better. Last night's was so good, I was amazed. The show is just freaking hilarious.

That was a great show. Some great Dr. Cox moments
"Barbie, I have one hug in me per year, and 9 months ago I hugged my son. I'm all out".
Talking to JP's brother in the tub: "I'm an emotionally crippled narcissist and you're an emotionally crippled narcissist who is sitting in what I now consider mostly your own urine." "I think the balance may have swung that way, yes..." "Together we could maybe get our act together and make one emotionally supportive person..."
And then at the end when he tells JP he's proud of him too.

on most shows it wouldn't have worked and would've simply become a lame sight gag from a Three's Company rerun, but Scrubs is so well cast that the scene where Ted's hair shot back into Bozo form when pulled from old guy's office worked. i was almost howling.

IT was really touching too, because John Ritter had been excellent in two guest starring tint as JD's dad (its a "D", not a "P", lol), and instead doing a lame copout and just cgetting a different actor to portray the dad, Scrubs took the gutsy way out, wrote his death into the show, honored John Ritter (both in the show and by dedicating the episode to him), and really FINALLY made it clear that Cox does see JD as a brother/son type deal.
Yes, I am way too involved in this show. Its that good.

The Bozo spoof was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. Stupid, wacky and yes lame, but on this show it was like BUTTER ; )
Most definitely the best show on this season. Too bad they fucked it around last year

Alrighty, this topic has finally made me register and make the switch from GG.
Scrubs can be so funny at times, that you forget that it's more than capable of doing drama. This episode accomplished that perfectly, with J.D.'s dad dying and Turks diabetes.
Also, I echo the sentiment about it being screwed out of it's primo timeslot. Damn you Apprentice.

I love this show. It's up there with Will and Grace and Joey for comedies that consistently crack me up every time I turn them on (or *sniffs* Friends on DVD).
