Sanctuary - Cancelled!

saw a commercial for the new season of Sanctuary last night and was pleasantly surprised to see it returns this coming Friday.  I'm kinda hoping they re-run the last couple of episodes, I can't remember how last season ended.  was it a cliffhanger?

Still enjoying the show and the second season just ended last night with a two hour yep - cliffhanger. Took place mostly in Mumbai and involved disciples of Kali, who was... smoking hot. Nice little 'hot tub' scene thrown in as well.

figured I might as well update this thread instead of starting a new one since I'm not sure if anyone was following the series after season 2:

Sanctuary cancelled.  luckily they had a good ending point for season 4, and maybe the series will live on in comics.

Bummer. As noted, the end of the last season makes a decent ending for the series but I for one was looking forward to more.

Hmm, I am so far behind. Will catch up eventually. The second season didn't work as well for me and I lost track of when it was on. BUt that means I get to enjoy two seasons together

Not too surprised.  I felt the last season was crap.   The show had promise in the beginning but really lost its focus and kind of went all over the place.  Also losing Ashely and adding Kate were two fatal moves.  Last of all, they really messed up with the character of John Druitt.  Used him way too little, made him a tragic and sympathetic character and then had Magnus shit all over him.

Exactly how  I feel as well.  Not surprised at all that it was canned.  It had promise for sure but the characters were just so lacking in some parts...but great in others.  Ah well.  Maybe that leaves some money/room for some nice new awesome SyFy show in the future?
