Holy hell...first you have to figure out if you have an amazon account, then you have to download their proprietary music player, then you have to install it, then you have to download the file, then you have to register the player. All for a 6-minute sound clip.  finger

It was worth it, though.   thumbsup

Yeah, it was like founding out your brand new game had Games for Windows Live grafted onto it.  icon_confused

Yeah, I "bought" it but I'm not installing their crapware just to listen to it.

At least, not on my home PC.    ninja

I clicked through the page, it downloaded the .aa file to my Mac, and it opened and played in iTunes. I wonder why it was more complicated for y'all. In any case, awesome book!

Well done, audible... I logged in w/ my Amazon account (who the hell doesn't have one of those?), and it filled in my name for me (Bob instead of Robert).  I put in my billing address... and got this error:

"Error setting your address. The following fields are invalid: Name"

Which is not a field I can change. Bravo.

I've downloaded lots of files from Amazon and never had to do all that.  Let the file down loader run and then open the folder on your computer where it downloaded it.  C:\Users\NAME\Music\Amazon MP3 by default on Windows 7.
