I know Saddam was a bad, bad person, but his trial was a travesty and this isn't justice.  It was a show trial and this is just plain revenge and murder.  Ultimately, it's Justice and Democracy that loses here.

Nobody should hang. At least not literally.

Would you prefer firing squads?

i'm glad i'm not the only one disturbed by this whole thing.  it actually bothered me when he was sentenced to die.  if you watch the video of his sentencing, the man was in utter terror knowing he would be executed.  i found the look on his face and his eyes very unsettling.

i've always supported the death penalty.  but having witnessed this whole thing and actually watching the execution performed, it bothers me alot.  i find what he done to countless innocent people repulsive, but watching his execution was disturbing.

i'm with you siege, dropping him during his prayer was cold.  i wish i hadn't watched it.

According to reports it was his second time through it.  Muslims often repeat prayers over and over so he could have gone on and on and on...

Former Iraqi judge trying to make a name for himself.  His opinion doesn't matter.

It's high time he's dead.  It's too bad it wasn't sooner.
