On the way back to the garrison, the APC got stuck in mud on a country road. The soldiers, who had already had a drink by then, tried to force their way into a car market. Security guards refused to let them in and called the police. The police patrol arrived and detained the unruly soldiers.
Should their drunken behavior and unauthorized use of military hardware be confirmed, the guilty parties will face severe punishment, the prosecutor’s office has said.
