I have to say that I have been pretty skeptical about this one since I first heard about it, but after watching the trailer some of that trepidation has gone away.  I may even go so far as to say I'm a little bit excited.  At the very least it should be entertaining watching guys knock the crap out of each other in the ring again.   icon_biggrin

"Probably the 70's." lol.

It may seem an odd thing but the fact that they brought back Apollo Creed's dad (the character and the same actor) to train Rocky strikes me as pretty cool. As a child of the 80's I'm always wanting those guys like Stallone to knock it out of the park. A lot of people didn't like it but I loved Assassins with him, Julianne Moore, and Antonio Banderas. That was the last great Stallone movie, IMO.  crybaby

I know I'm just picking nits here, but Rocky and that other boxer don't look like they would even be close to the same weight class.  I doubt I'll see it (never been a big fan of Rocky to begin with), but I can see that the movie might work.

I'll see it.  I own the box set, so it only makes sense to 'round it out' with this final movie.  Besides, there aren't a ton of great movies coming out around Christmas anyway. slywink

That other boxer is Mason "The Line" Dixon.  Simultaneously one of the greatest and most horrible character names evericon_biggrin
