http://www.rockybalboablog.com/

First off, this one looks to be titled "Rocky Balboa" rather than Rocky VI.

Looks like Sylvester hit the gym pretty hard.  For a guy in his 50s (56 to be exact) he looks solid.  Rambo movie in the offing perhaps?

Quote
In the new installment, Rocky, lonely and retired in Philadelphia, comes out of retirement, intending to fight a few low-profile local fights. He’s approached to fight a match with reigning heavyweight champ Mason “The Line” Dixon, and soon his comeback ignites a media firestorm.
I'll just ignore the Mason Dixon reference + black guy = racial oopsie thing and say that against my better judgement I'm loooking forward to this movie.  Antonio Tarver is one mean son of a bitch, and he hits like he's got a brick in his gloves.  Need the proof?

For those who didn't see this fight, he hit Roy Jones Jr. like an anvil and sent his keister to the canvas half way into the second round.  Prior to this asswhippin, Roy was in talks to play Mason Dixon.  Funny how life kicks you to the curb sometimes.

A few nuggets about the film:

Quote
Former THE A TEAM star MR T is set to reprise his role of CLUBBER LANG in the upcoming ROCKY VI film.

The 1980s icon played ROCKY BALBOA's tough, non-nonsense opponent in ROCKY III and he'll reteam with SYLVESTER STALLONE in the latest instalment of the boxing film franchise.

Everyone's favorite drunk...

Burt Young is expected to return as Adrian's brother, Paulie.

Feb 2007 is the target date.

Yo.

Stallone looks good, but not good enough for me to buy a win against a boxer in his prime.  Maybe he gets hit so hard he dies!  At the very least he should displace a hip.

My butt may be in the seat just to see that.

If Thunderlips makes a cameo, I'll pre order the collector's DVD right now!

I have a feeling that the wife will make me sit through this. I never really got into the Rocky movies. I watched them, they were ok, but nothing special to me.

Same here (but at least my wife didn't like them either, so I'm safe.)  But, I feel the same way about every superman movie. /meh   Guess they must have made some bucks though if they resurrecting them.

I think the full title of the movie is  " Rocky Balboa- (Stallone is behind on mortgage payments)"

I mean seriously, what world does this guy live in. The original Rocky is in my top 10 of all time movie list, but to do this crap to it is just ridiculous. I Mean the whole point of the first Rocky was a second chance for a washed up fighter past his prime. HE WAS 30 and past his F-ing prime,

To have him boxing at 60, why doesn't Sly just  panhandle or beg for money, this is just horrid.

Oh guess what , know what his next project is- RAMBO, I fing kid you not. A bunchof my friends are extras on this Rocky crap-fest being filmed in Philly right now, they told me that last week.
