Was it?  I remember them being seperate entities, with Mr. Dragon trying to figure out how to advertise CG articles in GG's console forum without people yelling at him.

OMG, too, too many answer to this!

How about when David Hasselhoff was cool????
First of all, he was NEVER cool!  Do NOT doubt this! Second of all, I should know!

And the Internet?  I'm with dbt there... it was even "fairly" recent memory for us...

And
Quote
He wanted to be a young white girl so he could have sleepovers with little boys
No, he didn't!  He wanted to be his sister...

And yes, Wonderpug - that was muy Great!  And Daehawk, I DO remember videos on MTV... and VH-1, for that matter!

Quote
Hey,I remember when Zsa Zsa Gabor was hot.
dbt, I do too, though my choice was Robert Lansing in "12 O'Clock High" or Vic Morrow in "Combat" - guess I was always a budding video gamer, even before there were video games!

That leads to - How many people remember getting their first television?  No, I didn't say HDTV, or even color TV - just plain old TV?  Lesse, dbt - and, unless i mis-read your post, probby Semi-conscious as well... anyone else???

I came to Gone Gold as a PC gamer, so I didn't pay much attention to the console side of things.  No offense intended, anyone: when you get to my age, your memory isn't too reliable any more
