I really liked Equilibrium so it'll be nice to see what Wimmer can do with a bigger budget.  Even if the story ends up cliche, the action should be great eye candy.

Also: I'm in, if only to watch Milla kick more ass. I'm sure the story will be weak and the overall acting less than stellar, but I'm also sure I just won't care.

Of course I never saw the UK miniseries Ultraviolet, which I'm sure this version is butchering.  If I did see it I might not be too thrilled, as it sounded like it was more cerebral that what this looks like.

Meh. Looks like Equilibrium but with a bigger budget, as CS stated originally. I do like the into-the-sunglasses shot, and director Kurt Wimmer certainly has an eye for truly spectacular visuals. I thought EQ was pretty average but with some dazzling fight choreography. Certainly not worth the accolades heaped upon it by the net community, who I'm guessing haven't seen many Asian martial arts films which it pilfered wholesale. I agree that Milla is cute to look at, but sucks as an actress (Fifth Element excepted). I'll see this eventually.

Incidentally, I just purchased Equilibrium two weeks ago.  I still havent watched it; at the moment I'll only be watching DVDs on my computer, and I havent installed the software to do that  :?

The trailer does look cool, however.  I'm willing to bet it will be way better than Aeon Flux.

wasn't that a british tv show or miniseries or something? I saw one episode and it was pretty good (all i remember was it was british and had vampires)
