Want to see it performed by a hot chick?  Then check out Wimmer's next movie, Ultraviolet

Personally, I think it looks like more of the same with a larger budget.  Not that that's a horrible thing...

Meh.

Could be good.  But the whole sole surviving member of the eradicated supersoldier group who gets revenge on their previous masters has been done so many times before.........

I really liked Equilibrium so it'll be nice to see what Wimmer can do with a bigger budget.  Even if the story ends up cliche, the action should be great eye candy.

Those pictures are of Milla Jovovich?

Jesus. They made her look like Ali Larter.

For those who don't know who Ali is, this is not a good thing.

*edit*
Watched the trailer.

The inevitable question.. what is that song that plays in that last section of the trailer?

*another edit*
Don't bother with the song. For once, my google-fu is strong. The name of the song is 24 by Jem, if I'm not the only one interested in the cheesy music slywink

Also: I'm in, if only to watch Milla kick more ass. I'm sure the story will be weak and the overall acting less than stellar, but I'm also sure I just won't care.

Looks fun.  I'm in!

Of course I never saw the UK miniseries Ultraviolet, which I'm sure this version is butchering.  If I did see it I might not be too thrilled, as it sounded like it was more cerebral that what this looks like.

Ugh, Milla Jovovich. Unattractive, supremely untalented, so count Calvin=out!

Actually, I thought that was pretty cool. Don't look perfect, but I'm alway in for a good bout of shit kicking and crazy gun battles.

Um, IN!, I guess.

Meh. Looks like Equilibrium but with a bigger budget, as CS stated originally. I do like the into-the-sunglasses shot, and director Kurt Wimmer certainly has an eye for truly spectacular visuals. I thought EQ was pretty average but with some dazzling fight choreography. Certainly not worth the accolades heaped upon it by the net community, who I'm guessing haven't seen many Asian martial arts films which it pilfered wholesale. I agree that Milla is cute to look at, but sucks as an actress (Fifth Element excepted). I'll see this eventually.

Incidentally, I just purchased Equilibrium two weeks ago.  I still havent watched it; at the moment I'll only be watching DVDs on my computer, and I havent installed the software to do that  :?

The trailer does look cool, however.  I'm willing to bet it will be way better than Aeon Flux.

[edit] Hmm... why am I dropping letters off of words today?

In.

Fan of both Jovovich and Equilibrium.

I think the trailer may have given away too much of the action though.

If the ending fight can top Equilibriums duel then I'm in.

I'm wondering about Milla though, she seems like a decent enough actress.  Has she been in any non-action movies recently?

And yes, they made her look like that Ali girl.
