It consistently makes your house smell like burned hair and camel shit?

I was thinking it made you a freshman in college, but your answer works too.

I don't get the joke either. But more importantly, I'd like to hear an answer to the original question myself. I just picked up a couple boxes at the hookah store today. 99 cents.

Daehawk, when you buy in that kind of quantity, do you find it gets stale after a while?

Maybe everyone who wants to give incense advice but CeeKay is just slow.

I would just like to point out that yesterday's outburst from me was exactly the reason why I shouldn't post when I'm having a bad day at work.  Sheesh, I was cranky.   icon_eek

No. The last box I got lasted about 5 years or so. It never lost any strength. Used the last one about 3 days ago and it was still strong. Good stuff. Its the kind in the blue box...cant recall the exact name but the flavor was Nag Champa.

I thought it was funny until I realized it was a joke. Come on, man. You don't need an online community to make an incense purchase. But since you asked, find a head-shop, or natural foods store, or record shop. It doesn't have to be run by Indians. Our co-op has boxes of 25 or so for about $1.79. Support local business.

This thread reminds me of a M. Night Shamamlama-whatever movie.  It starts out real slow, pieces start to fall into place. Closer to the end you think there might be some redeeming qualities.  Then, nope.  She just peters out and dies.  Everyone gets it, they're just not sure if it's what they're supposed to have gotten.

I almost had a sixth sense keeping me wide awake with all the signs that this was happening in the village we have here on the internet.  Wherever unbreakable is since his banning I'm sure he's praying with anger that uh...lady in the water...something.

growing up, i had a relative who, when asked the time, would always answer with, "Half past a monkey's ass, quarter to his balls.".  I like to believe he was eventually killed by a coalition of neighbors, relatives and strangers walking by during the assault.

And at the risk of turning the thread dangerously on-topic, a search for "incense" on Amazon.com turns up a box of 250 sticks of Nag Champa for $11.50 on the first hit.

I've got a ton of `em.  I had a friend in high school who actually tried to run me over in his car because I would constantly use the phrase "same difference" and "anywho".

Sometimes they get me in trouble.  Many moons ago, back when I used to do desktop support for a living.  Whenever I finished with a user I would say, "You should be straight, now."  Meaning that everything's good.  Until one day I said that to a gay man, whom I didn't know was gay.  However everyone in ear-shot did.   saywhat  Ugh.  Not good.
