Brooks fine was more than Clay Mathews week 1 hit on Kap, which was the most blatant attempt to injure I've ever seen. Just goes to show how stupid and biased the NFL is.

Ironically, the Saints didn't get called for grabbing Ryan yesterday.  I know it was an away game, but I wish we'd have beaten Atlanta by more.  I'm not too confident about going to Seattle and getting a win.

Pretty ugly game at NY, but Dallas goes to 4-0 in the division.

I hope everyone will take time this Thursday to watch America's Team play on America's Holiday. I think they are playing against some evil Somali pirates.

Quiet, you!  Although, I know both our teams use to be in the old NFC West, so we used to be rivals.  I would love a win, but not expecting it.  And now for an obligatory Who Dat!

Well, sadly this game is going like I thought it would. Seattle is a great team and they're playing at home in their element...no way the Saints were going to win. I also thought they'd lose by a decent amount, but I didn't think the gap would be so big at the half.

Wow, awesome win by the Hawks! Wilson can do no wrong - how many QB's can bounce a pass off of a receiver only to have another catch it for a TD. slywink The Defence knocking the ball off of Brees for a recovery and touchdown was pretty damn nice too. icon_smile  Can't wait for next Sunday!

He's pretty unbelievable.  That Seahawks D could make a case for MVP as well, if they would give MVP to an entire squad.

The Texans embarrassed the NFL and the city of Houston yesterday.  I didn't think Gary Kubiak needed to be fired until last night.  Apparently Bob McNair agreed.  The special teams were awful all season and got their position coach fired.  I guess it's time for the speculation to begin.  Lovie? Chuckie?  Wade is loved around here, but the defense has let the team down at the wrong time all season as well.

What a crazy turnaround for Houston.

So close between the Hawks and 49ers, but kudos to SF for a great win. Loved the game and I can definitely live with a loss like that.

Luckily for Seattle, it'll take a complete meltdown not to have homefield throughout the playoffs. The Seahawks at home >>> The Seahawks on the road.

Dallas defense didnt bother showing up. Have to beat GB and Washington to make sure the Philly game means something. At least that's reasonable, assuming Rodgers is still out.

Eagles have been a pleasant surprise this year. Quite a transformation from the team that quit playing last year. Chip Kelly inherited a horribly drafted, badly constructed team and somehow managed to get them winning.

The Eagles Vs Bears game IMO is going to be one heckuva big game in that battle for the NFC East. One of the NFC's best road teams against one of the conferences best home teams.  I admittedly don't know a lot about either team, but I'm a big fan of Coach Trestman - IMO one of the best to have ever coached a CFL team. I wouldn't put much money on the Eagles beating the Bears in that game, but I think they'll take the Vikings. Cowboys are for sure going to have to kick their D in the butt for the next 2 games if they hope to make that final game count.

I give up.

Somebody needs to get fired in Dallas.  After averaging over 7 yds per carry, they stop running the ball in the second half.  Unless there is a rule that you cant run the ball after the second quarter, I have no clue why they did this.   Maybe the worst clock management I've ever seen.  Maybe I'm just bitter since Demarco Murray was one of my starting backs in fantasy.  smile

Well they needed an excuse for Romo to throw another incredibly poorly timed interception. Although the loss was hardly his fault.

I didn't see the press conference after the game but read that Garrett said Romo checked out of a called run play to throw the interception.

As far as I'm concerned, the defense that gave up 30+ points in the second half lost the game, even if Romo didn't help in the end.

Very true.  Their defense is horrible.  Of course, they could have helped them out by eating up some clock and keeping them off the field.   I'm a Steelers fan.  At least your team has a shot at the playoffs.  icon_biggrin

My feeling that the Saints would lose to the Rams turned out to be correct.  Saints are definitely on a downward slide at the wrong time of the year.  This game in Carolina this weekend is going to to be so key.  Hopefully they can pull off a win on the road.
