http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/10/11/report-petersons-son-beaten-in-critical-condition/

Some very sad news this week concerning the son of Adrian Peterson.   A man in Sioux Falls is in custody for beating Petersons 2 year old son causing severe head injuries and putting him in critical condition.   I can't imaging what he is going through having to deal with something like this.

Exactly, I am not going to judge how another person deals with a horrible situation like this.

Im wondering how AP's 2 year old son got in the hands of this person.  Hopefully the kid will be ok and hopefully they lock this guy in a room alone with AP for about 10 minutes or so.  As far as AP playing sunday, if theres nothing he can do for his son right now perhaps football may prove to be therapeutic for AP,  though Im pretty sure I dont want to be the guy trying to tackle him this week,  Hes going to be playing angry as hell.

Thats just horrible.  I had read that the child was clinically brain dead earlier.  It appears that the guy responsible is the boyfriend of the childs mother.  I dont know if theres a dark enough place in hell for people like that guy but I do hope he gets the opportunity to find out if there is.   How could a person do something like that to defenseless 2 yr old?

Nope - glad you did a bit of running commentary, because once again it was a game that didn't get televised in my Canuckistan city. frown
I saw the highlights and that was one amazing pass by Wilson under pressure! Go Hawks go!

NIce win by the niners.  A little sloppy defense in the end, but the game was way out of reach.  Liked how Harbaugh got into the extra curricular activities.

How did the refs not flag the Titans on that play though?  Kap was repeatedly punched in the face while on the ground and then Staley had a hand on his throat.

I managed to watch the Denver-Indy game, man that was one crazy good game. Looks like the Colts are for real having now beaten the 49ers, Hawks and Broncos. Actually...I didn't follow the preseason rankings, were the Colts predicted to be this good?

And oh yeah, retro looks are good, but Packers...that was too retro!  Tongue

Now that Norv is gone, SD is actually playing some decent football. While I thought Indy would beat them, I wasn't shocked when SD won.

Unfortunately for Indy, Reggie Wayne is done for the year with a torn ACL. They have some good young receivers, but Wayne was still their most reliable and consistent WR.

I don't even understand what happened in the Dallas game. I was in the car, Dallas gets the ball back with a minute and change and the lead. Then they lose. No make sense.

You'd think Dallas fans would be used to this sort of thing by now.

Yeah that game was kind of a gift horse to the Hawks from the Rams. Hawks O line may not have had their best game, but the Rams D was also damn impressive. As they always say, good teams have a way of winning, even if they're ugly wins.  slywink
