Thursday Night Football.Man, I just love football season! Especially when the Thursday night games start! So, anyone excited to see just how "for real" the Ravens are? I for one think they are absolutely for real, and I have them as one of the top 3 teams in the AFC without question (along with SD & NE). Soulchilde... you going to be watching this.... or are you playing Orc-Chat-Room with all your 13 year old friends tonight?

I would like Thursday night football a lot more if Time Warner Cable carried the NFL Channel.

NFL Network HD was recently added to our lineup (right in time for the kick-off of Thursday night football on Thanksgiving), so I'm looking forward to some HD football tonight. Last night NFL Replay had the Giants/Titans game on in HD, and for me there's nothing better than NFL football in HD, even if it's a replayed game from earlier in the week. I'll most likely be watching tonight. And I'm also glad you reminded me of this because I have to get my picks in. :icon_eek:

I for one think they are absolutely for real, and I have them as one of the top 3 teams in the AFC without question Ravens will make the playoffs then lose their first game. Playoff teams shut down the run fairly effectively, and McNair wasn't clutch in his prime, let alone what he is now.

Time Warner here too, not cool.
I think that the Ravens are for real as long as McNair holds up. Since I also believe a great defense beats a great offense when it comes to winning championships, I have the Ravens pegged as SB winners, with the same condition.

Indeed. It was like McNair was afraid to throw the ball farther than ten yards until the last two minutes. Glad the Bengals are playing at least ok again.

It was 13-7. How much could you have missed?

It was 13-7. How much could you have missed? A surprisingly entertaining and very defensive oriented game? Your one of those people who thinks a game's boring if it's not an insane offensive shootout aren't you.

I don't think the Ravens are going anywhere with that offense. McNair spends most of the time throwing 3 yard passes. I can't tell if he really is an improvement over Boller or not.

Just trying to convince myself that I'm really not missing much by not have the NFL network.
