So I'm sitting here writing reports and listening to Club977.com's streaming 80's.  Blondie's song Rapture comes on....

That song is by far one of the most retarded songs I've ever heard.  Why did it take me until now to realize how stupid it is?  Let me explain...

Ok....if you can read about the man from Mars eating anything that would rhyme with bars and not wonder just why this song is/was popular...I can't be all alone on this one.

For some artists the words' meaning really don't matter so much as it sounds good with the tune.  For example: Faith No More's songs were all pretty much done in that manner.  Sure some of them revolve around a theme but for the most part they make no sense and have no continuity.  BUT...  They wrote some of the best 90's music around. IMHO.

THen again you're right.  Some music is just retarded.
