It's time for Race to the Bottom!  This episode:  Who has the worst TV?  This should be your main TV that you use the most.

My entry for TV: a 12 year-old Sanyo 27" CRT SDTV that doesn't even have a flat-screen.  This is our main TV that we watch shows and movies on.  Beat that!

My TV is decent (Hitachi 52" HDTV), but the bottom corner has a permanent 12" by 6" black smudge from when my cat barfed down the front of the screen.  Does that count?

We have a 22 year old 'Sears' brand 13" TV.  Non flat screen. mono sound.  It is our only TV.  The remote is so worn you have to use two hands and mash the buttons with all of your might to adjust volume. Fortunately, we have a 15 year old VCR to use for channel changing or we would be stuck watching channel 3 all the time.

LOL.  Honest to god, I think it was the only time he's ever been on top of the TV.  3,000 square feet in the house, and he chooses that exact spot to hork.  Just bad luck, I guess.  Here's a picture of the damage (crappy camera phone is all I got):

It's not quite as dark now (this happened quite a while ago), but is still noticeable.  Especially when there's a light colored image on screen.  In the end, though, it's not that big a deal.  The cat's much more important to me than the TV.

I don't think I'd kill my cat if it ruined my TV. It'd be relegated to living in the garage and/or outdoors the rest of it's natural life though.

My only TV is a crappy 21" RCA with a really curved screen, mono audio input/output and has never heard of such things as S-Video or composite cable inputs.  This is why I play my 360 using VGA cables.  I am slowly saving up for a moderately sized HDTV.

Wow, I thought I was ghetto with my 10 year old 27" Sony. Yes that is my main TV.
We did lose the original remote to it and had to get a new universal remote. However, the uni-remote doesn't let us access the TV's configuration menu - and there are no buttons on the TV itself that let us adjust brightness, contrast, etc. And to top it all off, the sound seems to be going bad. Premium cable channel sound output is softer than regular channels. Anyone else experience that?
