"Gone Gold" is a somewhat archaic expression, since the "gold discs" are actually digital tapes and eventually silver discs.

Against the backdrop,
Of reality this hurts,
No more Rich? Say no!

Perhaps a rebirth
There is real hope in the thought,
GG now Didge Tapes?

I love it when the Surprise Haiku strikes! Especially when it becomes a Haiku Competition. The last one was moving!

Sadly, I have no skills to compete. frown

What does Gone Gold mean?
It means the state of the code,
Not the media.

Gone Gold may be gone
But like that golden egg goose
I've gone to get laid

Point to forum - Click!
No response, panic sets in
Gone Gold, really gone?

Lost in cyberspace
Needing a place to call home
Console Gold saves day

Replaced by something?

The Gone Gold Effect
It is gone but is it dead?
We are all still here

I feel empty now.

My love for Gone Gold
