An entire smoked turkey, a meat/cheese gift pack, and a collection of 50(!) WW2 movies from my brother. $150 and a calendar of black and white photos of the places I grew up living in from my father (who used to be a professional photographer.) Some stuff from my mother that was weird, including a giant grasshopper under glass thing. I thought she was over this "random crap" phase last year when she sent me money, but I guess not. She is paying for a trip to Gettysburg in the spring or summer, though, so I can't really complain. A bunch of cool stuff I've bought for myself this month like a new cell phone, accessories, a book, and ongoing Steam holiday sale purchases.
On the whole a good year.

I've gotten a ton of fun and/or super thoughtful things, but two gifts really blew me away:
A pair of circa 1984 generation 1 Transformers: Wheeljack and Tracks. The gift is just so completely awesome and perfect for me, and it shows the givers know me far better than I could have imagined. Just such a spot on, unanticipated, and thoughtful gift.
Second, an out of the blue thank you from someone I tried to help through a tough time nearly a year ago. You never know if the little things you do to be nice have much of an impact, and to hear that they did, and that the act was remembered all these months later? Priceless.

Adding to the loot haul:
Assassin's Creed: Revelations The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Gears of War 3 Forza 4 Thor DVD Attack the Block DVD Turf Hog cleats for softball 120 GB hard drive for my Xbox 360 (still rocking the 20 GB)
And the first trip to see the wife's family in years without a single argument, no drama, and zero strife. I wonder if they all received sedatives for Christmas.
