Same here.  Having worked a couple Black Friday's in retail, there's not a chance in hell that I'll step foot in a store today.  For some reason, people think that $100 off a TV gives them the right to act like a complete animal.  I will never understand it.

That said, I may hit a couple online deals today.

I've never gone to the stores, and it's hardly even needed anymore. I just set my alarm for 3:14, hopped on Amazon and Wal-Mart.com for a little bit, then went back to bed. Then I got up again at 9:14 to look at the new lightning deals.

My closest Gamestop had some in-store deals of 50% off the marked price. I picked up UFC 2010 for $20. Apparently some of these doorbuster deals the employess weren't even aware of.

Also seen a couple 360 consoles marked down at Radioshack. An Elite system was $189

No idea yet.  The wife left at 4am and she hasn't returned home yet.  Without me in tow slowing her down she's free to shop even more stores for even longer without any need for a break.  She combined forces with her friend and her friend's sister.  My wife is like a machine when it comes to Black Friday shopping.  Fortunately for me our friends agreed to go so I didn't have to.  Although I didn't completely avoid Black Friday as at 6am my phone was ringing because she needed a coupon forwarded to her phone from her personal email.  

Works out well for me though as I'm currently sitting on the couch with a cold beer, turkey "sliders" made with cold turkey and mayo on leftover dinner rolls, a heaping helping of my creamy mashed potatoes topped with homemade gravy, and green bean casserole.  I try to be somewhat humble about my cooking, but in this case I have to say that gravy is one of the best things I've ever made.  With the creamy potatoes it's like heaven on a plate.  Time for more heaven.  Amen!

Just picked up Transformers: War For Cybertron for my new PS3 from Amazon. I went to a Gamestop and an used CD store tonight trying to find an used version of it, but no luck. Don't want to keep strutting my ass all over Baltimore for a copy, so I just took advantage of that $30 Amazon sale price.

I think what I learned this year is that one should avoid buying any games that release in November if you can resist, because you'll likely be able to save at least $20 per title on Black Friday.  Need For Speed and Assassin's Creed certainly fell in that category this year.
