I was thinking about this the other day. I have friends who are not from this country, and when they refered to GWB as my (as an American) President, I quipped back that he wasnt MY president.
I highly suspect he will only be the President for half of America, one way or another, read that how you will. So what do other people think?

Feelings don't change fact. If you're a citizen of the United States, he is your president.

Of course he is my President. That's how Democracry works. You don't always win and taking your toys and going home isn't a productive attitude. My Brother once said that it's great how during times of political turmoil we don't see tanks rolling down the streets (just snipers on the rooftops). I don't like W, I don't like most of his policies, but the system worked and he is the President. That's the end of the story on that for me.

He is my president. He's that as well as a murderer, thief, liar, and more (Wait, I guess that can be said for other Commanders In Chief as well). So many evils wrapped up into one little package. What a guy.

He's the President of the United States and I'm a citizen of the States. I never called Bill Clinton MY president even though I liked him. I simply say he was the president and now GWB is the president. "My" sounds possesive and I certainly don't own a share of GWB, so he is not mine.

talk about sore loser Wow, kids are dying every day in Iraq, for no other purpose than to spread the great American religion of democracy, and you say this is about sore losers? Lol. I don't care who wins an election, as long as they make me proud to be an American. I am ashamed atm, to be associated with the acts we have committed against others in the name of justice, AND REVENGE. We ARE talking about the same man who claims we need to take on the "evil-doers" right? Pot meet Kettle. We have created terrorism where there was none (Iraq). Yay us.

talk about sore loser So because he wins the election, all of us that voted against him are suddenly supposed to like and support him? Yes, he is my president. But no, I don't agree with what he does any more than I did before the election.

He IS the president. Like it or not. For those opposed, take comfort that in 4 years you will not have to put up with him ever again. No, there will be someone else you can despise in office.

Its not taking your toys and going home. I am not very political, but this administration makes me VIOLENTLY ANGRY. I consider myself a passenger on this train and when the bombing commences in IRAN I am going to just shake my head and lament that maniac winning. But he is my country's leader for better or worse we have a religous maniac pushing the American way around the world.. Who the fuck thinks that IRAQI's Want a Starbucks and GAP in Bagdad... There I feel better. My Countries President, Someone elses mistake.. how about that.
