If you are left to survive whatever the apocalypse is, what would your preference for said apocalypse be? Why?
Zombies? (Fast or Slow) Nuclear War Gas shortages a la Mad Max/Road Warrior Super Bacteria? Liberal Legislation? (just kidding) ELE (such as a meteor) ? Melting Poles? (Waterworld!) Rise of the machines ?

Gas shortages a la Mad Max/Road Warrior Sounds like the best deal for someone living in Norway. Individual towns/cities would get more isolated, but apart from that, most things would remain the same. We don't use gas for our electricity, bicycles are great for short-distance transport, and there's enough farms, hunting terrain and sea around to keep just about everyone fed. Unless I misunderstand what this apocalypse actually is. I must admit I never saw the sequel(s ?) to Mad Max, so I didn't get into the reasons for why things were the way they were.

Assuming I survive and am not immediately stricken with cancer, Nuclear war seems to be the way to go. As long as you could get to an area that was free of radiation, you should be able to live a fairly normal life. In all the other cases, you're either going to be constantly looking over your shoulder (for zombies or machines or some infected dude) or have to deal with crazy new elements (waterworld, the years of darkness accompanying am asteroid strike,, etc.).

Unless I misunderstand what this apocalypse actually is. I must admit I never saw the sequel(s ?) to Mad Max, so I didn't get into the reasons for why things were the way they were. LOL. I'm not sure that what you have described qualifies. Perhaps the opening narrative for road warrior will help frame the situation better though I find the idea of all of Norway just brushing it off as no big deal while the rest of the world falls apart hilarious. My life fades. The vision dims. All that remains are memories. I remember a time of chaos. Ruined dreams. This wasted land. But most of all, I remember the Road Warrior. The man we called “Max”.
To understand who he was, you have to go back to another time. When the world was powered by the black fuel. And the desert sprouted great cities of pipe and steel. Gone now, swept away. For reasons long forgotten, two mighty warrior tribes went to war and touched off a blaze which engulfed them all. Without fuel, they were nothing. They built a house of straw. The thundering machines sputtered and stopped. Their leaders talked and talked and talked. But nothing could stem the avalanche. Their world crumbled. The cities exploded. A whirlwind of looting, a firestorm of fear. Men began to feed on men.
On the roads it was a white-line nightmare. Only those mobile enough to scavenge, brutal enough to pillage would survive. The gangs took over the highways, ready to wage war for a tank of juice. And in this maelstrom of decay, ordinary men were battered and smashed. Men like Max. The warrior Max. In the roar of an engine, he lost everything. And became a shell of a man, a burnt out, desolate man, a man haunted by the demons of his past, a man who wandered out into the wasteland. And it was here, in this blighted place, that he learned to live again...

Don't 28 days later zombies run? Therefore they are null.

well, technically, they aren't even zombies. Rage infected humans. they still die the normal way and eventually die out through lack of food.

Traditional zombie bites most likely, but the extra weight may slow YOU down and let them gang up on you.. they could probably get though the chainmail at some point then... But what does it matter? Do you even have a head to toe chainmail set? if not you'd be out of luck anyway.. I'm pretty sure Walmart doesn't carry them...

Are Sexbots the cause of your Apocalypse, or is this how you're spending it, hiding in a cave while the rest of humanity self-destructs?
