Why do you have to taste so good?

Because smooth is the only correct answer.

I didn't think peanut butter was worth the calories until I bought some store-brand natural stuff recently. Ingredients: peanuts, salt. Really good and it doesn't separate into oil and solids like natural peanut butter used to do.

I can't abide the brands that have sugar or corn syrup.

I love Jif, grew up on it.  Sadly I can't have it anymore because of strong molasses allergy combined with mild peanut allergy.  Peter Pan (which I don't really like anywhere near as much) is about all I can have since it has low molasses content

Jif makes a version of Nutella that is far better than Nutella by the way, look it up.

Why not get a natural peanut butter like the one I posted (there are others too)? Those contain peanuts, and maybe salt and that's it.

My wife tends to buy crunchy... I've commented on it multiple times...

So what do I see on her latest purchase?

EXTRA Crunchy

Agh. As for me, nothing against natural, except it still seems to separate as I don't eat it often enough so I prefer Jif.

Teddie is the bomb, and they have a version with flax seed added for extra superfood power. I used to eat Skippy Super Chunk and now I can't touch the stuff. Tastes like sugar with some peanuts.

And chunky all the way. But I also get creamy for smoothies.

Has anyone tried Cookie Butter, aka Biscoff spread, aka Lotus Speculoos spread?

This stuff is amazing. Spread it on an apple slice and you'd swear you were eating apple pie. I just had it this morning spread on bread and it was like eating a cookie sandwich. Not the sickeningly sweet kind either. It's surpassed Nutella as the "evil" spread from Europe that I just can't get enough of.

If you don't want separation then store the peanut butter in the fridge.

peanut butter should never be in the fridge.  It's meant to be eaten in room temperature.  The only time it's acceptable if it's in ice cream.
