Paris Hilton fascinating? Uh, no

During my weekly LOST viewing, I saw an ad for this year's Barbara Wa-Wa special on 2004's Most Fascinating People. After seeing Paris Hilton on it, I'd rename it to "2004's Most Unlikely to Surrender the Spotlight." How the hell does this no-talent celebutant skank get more press than real newsmakers throughout the year? I know Michael Moore is also on the program, ditto Mel Gibson, but I'm curious who the other 7 are. I would think Michael Powell would need to be on there, if only to get his from-the-horse's-mouth discussion on Janet Jackson and the roll of the FCC. How about Dan Rather talking forged documents and how he thinks broadcast news will play a part in the next 20 years?

But we must focus instead on Paris Hilton.... for no better reason than she's Paris Hilton, who never met a camera she didn't stare at like a deer in the headlights. Sadly for her boy-toys, this includes during sex as we all know and laughed at.

South Park had an instant classic last night with her.  Anyone for a 'Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset'?

Anyone catch the new South Park last night?  She came to town to open a new one of her chain stores:  Stupid Spoiled Whore.  Her little dog commits suicide so she decides she wants to buy Butters for a new plaything.  All the little girls in town are shopping at the store except Wendy.  They even have a Supid Spoiled Whore Video Playset that allows the girlst to make home movies and upload them to the internet.  And the whore-off at the end pitting her against Mr. Slave (Mr. Garrison's sex slave) was foul, repulsive and hilarious.

i caught that in the commercial...and oddly enough i'm curious to hear her answer.  i totally agree that she's a spoiled no-talent skank who has had way more than her 15 minutes in the spotlight.  

as for South Park last night...i missed the episode, but the local rock radio station played the 'Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset ' commercial this morning...pretty damn funny.  i just wish i had seen the show...

actually, if you wanted a truly accurate analogy, it would be driving by a car accident, stopping, getting into the car in question, driving around for a while, filming yourself in the car, releasing that video on the 'net,  then ditching the car in front of a bar...where it promptly ran into another car, thereby repeating the cycle.
