I'd be willing to bet that someone in the know from OO would post over here if OO was to be shut down for a significant amount of time. I mean, doesn't Qt3 go down at all? As far as number of replies, this thread is #3 behind the 'This is Fun' picture post thread and the 'Name that Movie' thread. Those other two threads have people posting constantly, daily. This thread has people posting when OO is down. I think that's evidence enough that OO is off line for a short time often enough to justify this thread's existence. :icon_wink As far as number of views, this thread is #3 behind the NSFW marked This is Fun thread and Katy Perry's NSFW boob thread. This thread has more views than the NSFW Round Robin thread. I don't know what to think about that. Imagine how many viewers this thread would get if it was marked NSFW! In other news, OO seems to be off line for a short time right now (NSFW). |

Why do we have this thread? For the same reason that somebody always posts at OO on the rare occasion GT is down. Because it's good to have confirmation that it's not just you and it's good to commiserate with others when you're bummed out that your forum is down. |

On another note the good thing is that when OO goes down we all get to look over the fence and show our neighbors some love. You all know you would get lonely if the OOers did not pop in every now again just to say "Hi and who else can't get on OO" I think the powers that be shut down OO on random occasions just so we can get together and chat an a somewhat regular basis.

Coming here when it's down always makes me feel guilty. I really came to love this forum when OO was down for that long period, but keeping up with two very similar forums is difficult. I guess I'm just a one-forum kind of guy.
